La Vigne Gîte is near Mareuil-sur-Belle; Beauséjour Gîtes are near Ribérac. John & Penny designed and built the accommodation themselves, making good use of John’s many years of building experience in the UK.
La Vigne Gîte and Beauséjour Gîtes are located in rural farming villages where wildlife abounds. Hummingbird hawk moths sip nectar from flowers in the gardens, swallows dip over the swimming pools to catch insects and red squirrels can be spotted darting about collecting nuts.Beauséjour Gîtes [click to enlarge]
Canoe trip from Ribérac [click to enlarge]John & Penny aim to provide peaceful, relaxing holidays in the beautiful surroundings of the Dordogne countryside. They are always happy to offer advice to guests about the region. Each gîte also has its own file of information about local events, activities, restaurants and interesting places to visit.
John & Penny live in France permanently and are currently building a new house for their retirement. When not working on the new house, John will happily share his knowledge and expertise about buying and restoring property in the area.View of the new house [click to enlarge]
