We spent a brilliant week at La Vigne which is located in a quiet rural hamlet with all ammenities within 15 minutes drive. The gites is well maintained, exceptionally clean and of a high standard. The pool was excellent and the filtration system was the best we've encountered keeping the water clear and clean. A warm and friendly welcome from the owners made us feel at home immediately and by the end of the week it felt like home. The area is full of attractions and activities for both young and old and Brantome is a good base. We would not hesitate to recommend La Vigne to anyone and we will hopefully return.

We had a lovely stay at this well-appointed gite, which included the most marvellous woodburner. This ensured that, despite sub-zero temperatures, we were always cosy and warm. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the location in a beautiful rural area still gave easy access to Riberac for shopping and eating. Further afield, Perigeux offers large town attractions.

We have spent a very relaxing two weeks at 'Tamarix'. The gite is very clean and very well equipped. The pool was 'fab'! Tamarix is an ideal base to explore 'Le Perigord', which is a beautiful area of France. Thank you so much for your hospitality Penny and John.

We found the gites ideal for friends or family, as being separate, you can do your own thing. They were very well equipped, we even had the English soaps on TV. The situation was excellent, very tranquil in pretty surroundings. Riberac, just a couple of minutes by car is a beautiful town, which holds a large market every Friday. It also has three large supermarkets which sell just about everything you need. It is also central for visiting places such as Brantome, Bergerac, and Aubeterre-sur-dronne, all well worth a visit. I can highly recommend the gites to anyone wishing to stay in this lovely area, and you will be well looked after by Penny and John.
